Whiteboard Makeover

Yesterday, I felt pretty crafty, and wanted to make something, but couldn't decide what... I decided my schedule board was way too boring! I got some of those flat sided pretty stones and went to work!
All you need is stones, a board & some hot glue!

Disclaimer: I can't figure out how to flip these pictures... I flipped them, and they still end up the wrong way.

I even did a few pushpins!!!!

Tractors!

TJ and I went for a walk today, and there was a house being demolished around the corner from where we live, so we walked over to see the tractors! He was so excited to see the big trucks & the tractors!

He's pointing out the tractor for me!

When we went to Walgreen's afterwards, he couldn't stop telling the girl at the checkout about the trucks and tractors!

Bulk Food!!!!!

I'm so excited guys! I just couldn't wait to tell somebody! As you know (or may not know, depending on how long you've been keeping up with me) we've been trying to eat healthier, and have a healthier lifestyle, for quite a while... We were able to for a while, when I was working, but now that I'm staying at home again (where I belong, and would much rather be) we can't afford it from the store.

Well, when I was at MOPS last week (I go with TJ, more on that another time), one of the ladies in a group I was in, mentioned buying food through the co-op. That perked my ears right up! Course, being me, I didn't catch who it was, or what she looked like, and I, of course, didn't stop her to ask any questions! Well, I finally posted on our MOPS group on Facebook today asking about it. And an answer came! Enter Azure Standard!

I'm so excited! The prices are great, and they have a drop here in town, so I won't have to have it shipped! You do have to sign up for an account to see the prices, but signing up is free, and you can get a free print catalog ordered if you are a new account. I will update when we make our first order, but I don't think it will be very long!

P.S. The above picture is a link, but if it won't work, you can go to www.azurestandard.com.

Identity Theft... How to watermark your photos to protect them...

::edit:: I want to give a disclaimer... if none of this makes any sense, it's because when I was writing it, I had a 2 year old jumping and dancing on my lap... I just came back and noticed that an entire picture was missing... the explanation was there, just no photo... LOL It's there now!

I wish that this post wasn't necessary. I wish that people were honest, and that they didn't try to take advantage of others. I wish alot of things, but in a fallen world that needs Jesus, there will always be people like that.

I use the website www.ipiccy.com for my editing and watermarking. It is pretty simple, but I wanted to make a tutorial.

This is what the page looks like when you first bring it up. Click on "Upload Photo" to get started. After you've uploaded your photo, double click on the thumbnail of the photo.

This is where you will go next. You can edit the photo in any way you want from here. Change the colors, make it a Facebook cover photo, crop, anything you want. If you are only wanting to watermark, click on the "layers" button, where I have the arrow pointing.

In this screen, you can add your watermark, or other text that you want to add. To make it light, for the watermark, change the "fade". I usually do it between 50% and 60%, depending how dark or light the back ground is. I try to put it in a place that would be hard to crop out.

You can add multiple layers, including stickers and other text boxes. When you are done adding, click "Done" in the right corner above the photo.

Click "Merge Layers", and then click the button that looks like a floppy disc. This will allow you to save it to your computer and use it.

Now just save it to your computer and use your picture!
